Duluth Youth Lacrosse Equipment

The equipment for Lacrosse differs from Boys and Girls.  The boys have helmets, shoulder and elbow pads, and padded gloves.  Girls have only eye protection.  Both require a stick and a colored mouthpiece.  Even the sticks differ from boy to girl.  Boys sticks have a deep pocket where girls are very shallow.  So be aware of the differences.

One can find equipment all over Atlanta but we recommend you check out LaxWorld in Duluth.  They have our team pricing and a lot of equipment.  Their experienced staff will help you all of the way.  All of them are ex-lacrosse players so they know their stuff!  For used equipment there is Play it Again Sports in Roswell and Kennesaw.  They have a great selection of used goods from shoes to sticks.  The Kennesaw store has a large selection of lacrosse gear.

	The player to the left illustrates a typical equipment requirement.  Note that the Rib Pads and cleats are optional but highly recommended.
	This is an example of what the boys helmet will look like.  Our color will be white.  There are options for the visor, chin and other parts to be purple.  These are upgrades and are not mandatory.  Ask LaxWorld about these.
	These are the boys/mens sticks that players use.  They come in all price ranges and have different characteristics.  There are 'D-Pole' or Defensive poles that are longer than a normal stick.  There are two parts to a 'stick'.  There is the 'Head' which holds the mesh basket and the 'stick' which is the actual shaft that the head attaches to.
	These are the kind of gloves the boys use.  Try getting black gloves so we have a consistent look.
	This is what a boys shoulder pads look like.  This type is typically used for offense players.
	Here is an example of eye protection for the Girls.  Get a color that 'matches' Purple.  Gotta look good!
	This is all the girls need to play.  Goggles, stick. mouthpiece and a ball.
